TEMPO Happy Hour
  Do you want another opportunity to get to know and network with your board and other TEMPO members in a casual setting. We welcome members to join us at our TEMPO Happy Hour! These Happy Hours will follow our board meetings on the Thursday following the monthly TEMPO luncheon.  No registration necessary.  TEMPO Board members will be on the club level bar, or third level pub. We hope you can join us.

Overture Center for the Arts, 201 State Street

Join TEMPO for an exclusive VIP tour of Overture Center, including Overture Hall and the historic Capitol Theater with Glenn Weihert, Overture’s facilities director who has worked there for 36 years, when the city first purchased the Capitol Theater to become the Civic Center!  Please do not wear heels, as we will have the opportunity to go up on the catwalk overlooking Overture Hall – if you dare!  Tour will start promptly at 4:15, from Overture Hall Lobby.  Tour will run 4:15-5:30 then we’ll head to Cento for a cocktail and appetizers.  
TEMPO will cover your first drink and appetizers.  Pricing is $10 for members and non-members.  There is a maximum of 20 people.  Please register by Thursday, January 24.  Overture Center Tour and Happy Hour 2019

Tuesday February 19, 2019, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Gail Ambrosius Chocolatier
Join us for an evening in Gail’s shop where we will learn where chocolate comes from and how it becomes chocolate.  We will then sample chocolates for 5 countries and discuss tasting notes. It is a fun and tasty event. Some parking behind building and on street. Gail Ambrosius Chocolatier is located at 2083 Atwood Ave. in Madison.

ABOUT US



TEMPO is an invitation only, peer-to-peer organization in greater Madison that connects women leaders with diverse backgrounds and experience to support, advise, learn and create relationships with one another.

Dedicated to shaping the climate and culture of our community by allowing future generations of women to succeed, TEMPO Madison continues to grow, adapt and change.

TEMPO embraces the future, while staying true to its mission of encouraging the advancement of women in business, public service, academia and the arts.

TEMPO membership is comprised of approximately 290 women in executive and leadership positions throughout the Madison area community.

Members are invited to monthly luncheons with featured speakers intended to stimulate conversation and expand horizons. Networking events encourage TEMPO Madison members to connect with each other socially and maintain perspective on life outside of the office.
